Abenda Alert NOTE: With NATO at war with Yugoslavia and so much of the world in upheaval, I felt it was time to ask Abenda about current conditions and to see if there was anything she wanted to tell me and the people who read her words. The first communication did not come from my spirit guide, but from a member of the Brothers of Peace. Dear Tara, To you, the planet appears to reign chaos. Macedonia has for centuries been an area of restless and unfortunate circumstances. (Note: In the past, the central region of the Balkans, including Yugoslavia, was considered Macedonia.) I am a member of the Brothers of Peace -- a sect on this side of the veil. We promote harmony through vibratory projection. This could be summarized as encouraging man to help his fellow man. To us, the only justification for fighting is self-defense. We all died during war and over here came together to try to make a difference on earth without having to reincarnate at this time. Abenda asked me to speak because I lived in Macedonia -- a store clerk selling vegetables from the farmers, flour and supplies. I died in 1849 in the remote village of Crvanka. Today, there continues to be such sadness and torment. Dying is not a horrible thing. But the negative feelings you experience as you die follow you to the other side and create karma that will have to be resolved. When conflicts subside, Kosovo will be far from civilized, but in the future this region won't be the primary target. Resources do not exist. There is no money to be gained by big business and industry. As Americans you need to be careful where you are going. A great nation holds fascination that can turn to contempt. Your world view is not necessarily shared by those living in poor and repressive societies. To many, America is the enemy -- the problem. Remember this when your nation feels smug and justified. Although the Russians are making a show of moving their ships into regional waters, they feel this problem is trivial and of course it is compared to their problems of feeding their people. What can you do to help? Donate through any rescue agency, even if your donation is of small value. The combined efforts of people can generate huge value. All the Brothers of Peace offer you good sense, solace, kindness and patience. I wish for you a peaceful life and a peaceful death. May you someday be a friend among us. He wore a suit and claimed to have been in government service in America: Dear, Tara, You are a Godsend to be able to talk to you. We always try to make a difference from here, but you and Abenda are showing us that it can be done directly. As for the state of America -- there will be no serious threats to your way of life until 2004. Then the changes will be apparent. Anyone who has not prepared for these changes will be surprised. It takes time to adjust to a new way of life. One day rich and privileged, the next poor and starving. This has often been a reality among men. But that doesn't mean all men suffer. America is vast and some places are not as valuable as others. Technology will continue to go forward and leave behind a strange wake. But do not worry. When it is necessary, we will try to guide people to make the right choices. Be responsible to yourselves and your way of life. Do not resist change. Be a steady and wholesome human. A haven of peace within is the result of your actions in daily life -- beginning in your household and extending out to others. If you could see how it works from my perspective, you would realize that what you do for others you do for you. Whether you donate time, money, cans of food, or some old clothing from your closet, you are helping others on the earth plane. You may not reap a reward in the near future, but your kindness will eventually return to you. If you can't donate material goods -- light a candle or speak of good will, for this is also the energy of consciousness. Crisis is the way of your world, so there will always be opportunities to help others. Times will become harder for all upcoming, but to each according to his or her individual karma. Weather changes will generate conditions that will directly and indirectly lead to difficult living conditions. The USA has been experiencing changes in cash flow, as have most nations trying to follow the path of Western consumerism. Credit card companies have overextended themselves. In the near future, there will be much less consumer spending. Major changes are resulting and not all are positive. The Internet is weaving a tighter world, and will generate changes that are impossible to imagine at this time. Everyone should prepare to be self-sufficient for awhile. Store food and water, and basic survival equipment, if only for yourselves and your loved ones. You don't need to fear, but prepare. You have chosen the earth as your home for the experiences it offers. Be conscious of good karma in all that you do. In oneness, Abenda. Before ending this session, I asked Abenda if the Brothers of Peace are part of the White Brotherhood. Abenda responded: These and many other groups attend our meetings and conventions shall I say. They are very much the same: The Brothers of Peace, The White Brotherhood, The White Knights, Templar Saints, Abbey Sons, Peaceful Warriors, Bayonette Observers, The Tribes of Abilish to Zelobeheim ... all working to influence peace on earth. We are called the Tribe of Oliabiakim. In time you will recognize this name as being devout and holy. I wish you love and peace, Abenda.
