The breakthroughs and results we attained at the Lake Arrowhead Retreat was a vivid reminder of why I was so attracted to this field 25 years ago. There’s a unique satisfaction in assisting someone release the past and experience liberation -- on some occasions for the first time in their lives. For one week in August, 17 participants, one “den mother,” and Tara and I occupied a huge house in the mountains and explored freedom. What do you need to be free -- liberated from old mental pain, old restrictions? How do you find clarity about what to do with the rest of your life? Prior to the retreat, Tara spent hours going over each person’s astrology chart using her unique combination of eastern and western techniques. She figured out each person’s last incarnation -- the one most affecting their current life. In advance of the retreat she told me what couple was having marital problems, who was most concerned about their health, and two who were deeply depressed. She even feared one participant would have an auto accident on his way to the retreat. As it worked out, he had an accident the day before leaving for the retreat. Before breakfast, and during two free afternoons and evenings, Tara did private psychic readings/ consultations with each participant. I conducted personal past-life regressions or counseling sessions. It was soon apparent to me that my wife was correct about all the participants current situations. Life is so much more predestined than most of us would like it to be. During the group sessions we all gathered in the large living room and Tara or I conducted altered-state processes followed by group discussions. When most of the serious work was done, we began to explore our mental potentials. Irene invited everyone to visit her Canadian home via remote viewing. She laid on the floor with the other participants surrounding her, touching her body. I induced an altered-state and directed the remote viewing transfer, while the participants used Irene’s body as a psychic touchstone. Everyone successfully remote viewed her unique home. Michelle experienced anxiety attacks every time I even talked about past-lives. So instead of regressing her individually, she was cradled by the participants -- all sending her energy -- and I regressed the entire group back to the grizzly past-life incident she was subconsciously avoiding. Protected in this womb of energy, Michelle was able to vividly view the situation along with the other participants who also observed what happened. As it turned out, the past-life cause explained why she was born with no hearing in one ear this time around. Everyone left Lake Arrowhead on a mental high that I still continue to experience two weeks later as I write this. The retreats offer a unique opportunity to explore in ways that aren’t possible in the larger seminars.
