WHAT HAPPENS AT THE
A Personal Letter from Dick Sutphen: Dear Friend, I can prove you have psychic ability in just 90 minutes. You will judge by your results. It’s that simple. I begin my Sedona Psychic Seminar with a short talk and an “aura-expanding” conditioning exercise to maximize your receptive powers. Then you will experience telepathy (the easiest psychic technique to master) with a partner you did not know before the beginning of the seminar. I induce an altered state of consciousness and direct a chakra-link between you and your partner in the exercise. You are then instructed to do a psychic reading on this person. (Over 90% of the participants are successful the first time.) Next, while you are still in deep trance, I will take three symbols from an envelope full of symbols. These symbols are drawn in black on white sheets of paper. I will then use a psychic mind-projection technique to telepathically send the symbols, one at a time, directly into your mind. Before I awaken you, I dissolve the connection between you and your partner in the exercise. Upon awakening, I show you the symbols. From 90 to 100% of the participants will accurately perceive one or more of the symbols. Considering there are well over 100,000 basic symbols, that’s quite a feat. Next, I have you compare notes with your session partner to see how you did with the psychic reading. Almost everyone participating in the exercise receives at least some valid psychic images. The participants take their lunch break amazed at what they were capable of.
Why Does It Work? It works because of the way I set it up. I’ve been doing psychic investigation and teaching people to perceive psychically for 30 years. I learned long ago that everyone is capable of psychic experiences when they understand the subtleties of how it works. I first developed the chakra-link technique back when I was doing experimental hypnosis and writing abut the results in my book, You Were Born Again To Be Together. The technique has been researched and refined ever since. I’ve often explored a session like telepathy both with the chakra-link and without it. Every time, using the technique statistically increases the results. It’s amazing.
Remote Viewing Once you have had a direct experience with telepathy, remote viewing is easy. This is a matter of mentally projecting your mind to another person in a distant location and using telepathy to communicate. I always ask the participants to call the person they projected to in an attempt to verify their perceptions. Invariably, several people in the room do this and report their accurate viewings. A mother attending the seminar remote viewed her son at a Florida college, sleeping in the middle of the afternoon. “I projected to him thinking he would be in class. So I called and he admitted he was sleeping. He had stayed up all night studying for a test. When the test was over, he returned to his dorm room to sleep,” she said. That response is typical of so many reported to me by my remote viewers. This powerful session has been part of my psychic seminars since Richard Bach first told me about his experiences at the Stanford Research Institute in 1976.
Automatic Writing In an automatic writing session, I ask you to write, at the top of your notebook page, the name of someone in spirit that you wish to contact. Beneath the name, you write one sentence asking a question you want answered. I then use extensive white God-light protection as I put you into an altered state of consciousness. When it’s time, I direct you to just barely open your eyes and allow the source of awareness to take control of your hand and begin writing. The last couple years, I have greatly refined the way I conduct a group automatic writing session. The technique is really “intuitive writing” -- a unique way to assure that everyone receives communications. This method easily flows into full automatic writing -- if not the first time you explore, it will with a little practice. I want you to be good at this so all on your own, you can do Automatic Writing in the psychic-energy vortexes on Saturday afternoon.
Friday Evening Friday evening you have off to enjoy nearby gourmet dining, local entertainment, or to meditate in Airport Mesa Vortex (within walking distance from the hotel). Vegetarian food is located at New Frontiers across the street from the Inn of Sedona. I eat a lot of my own meals there with participants. And later on a group of participants usually ends up in the large hot tub to talk metaphysics. The feeling of this seminar is more party-like than anything else I do all year.
The Sedona Psychic-Energy Vortexes On my website, you can read about some of the incredible experiences past participants had in the vortexes. Go to “Sedona Experiences.” Saturday morning in the Sedona Psychic Seminar, I will teach you psychic and healing techniques to use in the vortexes, and what to do and not do. I’ll also help you decide which location(s) to visit if you’re undecided. If you don’t have a ride, I’ll put you together with other people who are driving. You’ll have all afternoon to spend in the vortexes, invoking the techniques. Have psychic experiences. Heal your body. Ask for and receive answers from spirit. Experimental Explorations After dinner Saturday evening, we’ll meet again in the seminar room to talk about everyone’s experiences. After this discussion, it’s a Sedona tradition to do some experimental exploring in an altered state of consciousness. Many of these experiments have been refined into some of the powerful sessions I use in workshops elsewhere.
A Full Day of Sunday Explorations By Sunday, everyone in the seminar has adapted to the intense Sedona energy and knows they have psychic ability. There is a high and playful energy in the room, that I really enjoy. Two classic sessions explored on Sunday are Past-Life Regression and The Healing Circle. The other sessions vary from seminar to seminar, but might include such explorations as, Parallel Lives, Future Progressions, Soul Callings, or a Walk-In/Wanderer session. And if I have a guest speaker or guest psychic assisting me, they will usually bring in an exciting exploration of their own.
