Tara Sutphen's Personal Notebook

February ‘99 -- continued ...

News of other friends and associates:

New Year's Group

New Year’s Eve. Left to right: Patrick Smith, Marie Matheson, Richard, Jennifer Lueke, Tara, Richard Matheson.

Irish psychic, Patrick Smith, who many of you know from previous seminars, sweat lodges and readings, visited California for three weeks after Christmas. He joined us and other friends in Lake Arrowhead over New Years. Most of New Year's day was spent with Pat and I doing psychic readings on everyone else -- then on each other.

Brad Steiger has three new books coming out. The first, being released this month, is with talk show host Art Bell and is titled "The Source: A Journey Through The Unexplained." In April, watch for "Shadow World." "Animal Miracles" is due out in May. No one in the field can match Brad's ability to write so many  good, solid books. In an e-mail received a few days ago,  he says he's currently working on a 600-page encyclopedia of "Werewolves and Other Shapeshifting Beings." When I look at what it takes for Richard or me to write just one book, Brad becomes even more amazing.

Lake Arrowhead Group

Lake Arrowhead -- left to right: Tara’s brother, Jason McKean, our Art Director and Webmaster, Scott McKean, Dreamworks media man, Tanya Rose Pyke from the Ashland, Oregon office that oversees Valley of the Sun orders, and Tara.

Richard reported in "Soaring Spirit Online," that Ruth Montgomery has written a new book due out this fall. She told us this month she is currently in the process of moving to a new home in her same city in Florida. Edith Fiore says  she's moving to Florida in April, but will continue to commute back and forth to California for some time.

Our friend Therese Tinling, who helped Richard edit "With Your Spirit Guide's Help," is currently playing a major role in "Preying on Puritans" at The Heliotrope Theater in Hollywood. Therese is great. The play is great. Lots of top people in the business are hearing about it and showing up in the audience.

Seminar Support Team

Phoenix, September 1998 -- Professional Hypnotist Training support team ladies. Left to right: Kathy Watson, Susan Matthews, Tara, Betrice Patterson, Lynnette Fusaro.

One more item. This month, Richard conducted a two-day, pre-convention Past-Life Therapy Training at the American Board of Hypnotherapy in Newport Beach, CA. Then he opened the convention of 500 professional hypnotists with a funny keynote talk, which I think will later be posted at "DS Articles." Dressed in his standard stage attire of faded Levi's and rough-out cowboy boots, he is such a contrast to this otherwise formal group, but they sure seem to like him. Although he isn't a member, this is the seventh or eighth time he has keynoted the convention.

That's it, I'm out of news. If we can keep you awhile longer, go to the November installment of "Personal Notebook," or check out the new photos in "Our Malibu." One click below will take you directly to our sunny shore. Thanks so much for searching us out. I hope we see you in a seminar or workshop soon.
