In November, Robert Stuberg, a Nightingale-Conant executive, was in town for two days of brainstorming ideas with Richard. They’re talking about the creation of more albums. Early in 2000, NC released Richard’s six-tape “Mind Travel” album and it did very well for them. We’ve been delighted to work with the Chicago-area company, which is best known for it’s business and motivation albums by people like Stephen Covey, Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra. As I write this, Richard and NC have agreed to do two more projects together in 2001. Robert explained that it was Richard’s early tapes that got him interested in the motivational business, which in turn resulted in his position with Nightingale-Conant. While he was visiting Malibu, I had to take him to the ranch to meet my horse Li’rica. And while we’re on the subject of Li’rica, I’ll post a couple new pictures. I should add that Steve Sutphen tells me that I’m not a rational, sane person when it comes to this subject. I justify this by explaining that I’m a Sagittarius, with five planets in sag. This dictates an irrational love of animals. |

And my new “Telepathic Animal Communications Course” is now available on CD. It took two sessions to record it in Steven’s Hollywood studio, because his three cats insisted on being part of the process -- Richard, Steven and I laughed, because the cats seemed to know this was their big chance to communicate. His cat named "X" insisted on coming into the sound booth with me, where he curled on my lap, but Steve had 16 fits since he could hear X breathing in the microphone. When we kicked X out, he'd scratch and meow to come back in with me. With the exception of being a loud breather, he was being as good as gold. Click here to read some excerpts on the CD. Steve worked as art director on the NBC "Tucker" TV show until it was canceled. Now he's back to painting and audio production. New paintings are posted at www.pussart.com. Steve also just finished shooting "Rock Star 101" a short movie featuring Le'von Webb. Valley of the Sun art director Jason McKean (my brother) wrote a short film and plays the part of Jesus having dinner with a San Fernando Valley family. He's also creating the film score for an independent film titled "Machine Head." |
