Last fall, I decided after 20 years of going off to seminars, I needed a break from the road. Richard and I would conduct the Arrowhead Retreat and the London Healing Arts Festival together. I felt some new teaching partners would add new life to the seminars, and at the same time free me to explore my own projects. Considering how long it has been since I’ve posted a “Personal Notebook,” I realize how caught up I’ve been with a variety of explorations. I’ve created a “Destiny of Peace” video, been a hair-stylist on a film, acted in another film, fulfilled many Abenda readings, and have been writing on a couple metaphysical projects. There’s no way I can recap all the activities of the months I’ve been away from this site, but if you click on the “Articles” buttons you’ll find road journals on a couple of our fall/winter trips. I will, however, cover some of our 2003 highlights, beginning with a new puppy who is one of the current lights of our life. When we lost Jericho, Richard searched out a Samoyed puppy near San Diego. Born in December, we picked her up when five weeks old. Her litter mates had been stolen, but the thieves missed her beneath the newspapers. So she has grown up thinking people are her litter mates. Her name is Shima Tala (gentle mother wolf in Native American). |
