When people write telling about the effectiveness of our tapes/CDs, it always makes us feel good. Some of the stories, like the following from Karen L. Bishop, RN, BSN, of Lantuna, FL, really stand out. In February, she was one of the nurses caring for a very sick young man at his home. Here is part of her message: "The patient was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and was very ill -- receiving food through a nasogastric tube. Fluids were administered by a special central venous pressure line along with medications, blood draws, etc. "I noticed a copy of Dick Sutphen's "Walk In The Light" meditation on my patient's bedside table. He told me he often listened to the tape. He couldn't get out of bed, he was so weak. To complicate matters, his skin broke down creating another problem. But he continued to listen to the tape and somehow he made it out of radiation therapy every day. "The last time I saw him was in May, 1999, and what an improvement. He was eating on his own, and up and walking with the skin wounds all healed. I was so impressed and very happy for him. I really feel the "Walk In The Light" meditation made an enormous difference in the way this patient responded. It seemed to be a very powerful tool to promote healing, and I wanted to let you know." Thank you for sharing, Karen. |

I meant to take photos of Graham Wilson, his wife Carolyn and son Asa when they came out to our home for dinner at the end of October. But we all became so engrossed in conversation, I forgot to snap away. Graham owns the "Mind Body Spirit Festivals" in England and Australia, and has been working in the New Age field about as long as Richard. So the two of them speak a high-speed New Age shorthand, that is sometimes hard to keep up with. Paul Andrews is Graham's counterpart in the US having established the "Whole Life Expos," which I'm sure most of you on both coasts have attended over the years. Paul and Richard have worked together since the early days of New Age festivals in America. Lately they've been having lunch and talking about potentials. Paul sold the Expo a couple years ago, but it looks like he'll soon be back in business -- probably establishing offices near our new fulfillment and replication facility in Westlake Village. I've been hearing talk of Westlake becoming the next New Age energy center. Thanks to all of you who have shared how glad you are that we have the fulfillment and business office back in California, because the service is so much better. We're still working on it, and it will get even better. Richard, Jason and I have been recreating how everything is handled, and Steven and Richard are in the process of switching all the audios over to CD. We will, however, maintain most of our popular titles on tape for awhile longer, although there is little demand for this format. |
