I want to begin by thanking everyone who sent Christmas cards and millenium messages. They were appreciated. We spent Christmas and New Years in Malibu, and although we always enjoy a Southwestern holiday (our tree lights are red chili peppers) this year even our Christmas dinner was Mexican -- a variety of tamales with refried beans and all the fixings. Instead of wine, we served south-of-the-border beer in the bottle with a slice of lime in the neck. Scott Sutphen was horrified and brought his own turkey, but the rest of our family and friends seemed to enjoy every bite. Don Tinling and Andre Burke were among the friends who joined us. Many of you remember Don from his days of working with us at the Sedona Psychic Seminar. Today, he is attending art school, learning to create tantalizing Websites. Patrick Smith, our Irish psychic friend, came to visit for a few days over the holidays. Richard, Hunter, Cheyenne and I took him to a Michael Martin Murphy Christmas show. (Remember the songs "Wildfire" and "Geronimo's Cadillac"?) We wanted Patrick to take an American cowboy experience back with him to Ireland. We'll post a picture Jason took of us at the office. |
