Mother’s Day Body Dig

Mother’s Day morning Tara asked me if I’d like to help find the body of a man who died 30 years ago.

"Huh?"

It seems a woman who attended one of my workshops, had asked me about mediumistic training. I referred her to Tara. "She’s already a good medium," Tara explained. "I’m just helping her refine her abilities. She’s been receiving messages from a man who died 30 years ago. He was partying at a remote location back in the Malibu Mountains called "Lover’s Ledge." When he left on his motorcycle, he went off the road, crashed into deep brush and was never found."

To go off the road in one of Malibu’s canyons can mean a long drop into brush ten feet tall. The drummer for Iron Butterfly went off a nearby Malibu mountain road in his car and was not found for over 20 years.

None of the locals had every heard of “Lover’s Ledge,” but through a coincidence Tara’s client found that long ago the location name had been changed to "Party Rock." Tara and I eventually connected with the medium. She and helpers had been digging for hours in a remote location, deep in a canyon. They had unearthed pieces of what appeared to be bone. A motorcycle part was found nearby.

Sitting with their feet in the newly dug hole, Tara and her client went into an altered state of consciousness. Tara received automatic writing from the deceased. He had earlier told her client that they were sitting right on top of him. We did not have shovels at this time and we had Mother’s Day dinner reservations with the kids. Tara is convinced the man’s body is there and she will return next week with her client and psychic Patrick Smith (if they can talk him into it) to dig and further investigate.

While waiting for the two women to get ready to leave, I replied to a "Whatcha doing?" text message from my friend Carol Morgan in Dayton, OH. "I am trying to find the body of a man who died 30 years ago and is communicating from spirit," I texted in response.

She replied, " Only YOU would send me a text like this! Too funny!!! But what exactly does that mean??? :) Love u!"

Over dinner at a Malibu restaurant, the afternoon’s activities were discussed with Hunter and Cheyenne as casually as most people discuss a movie or baseball game. To them this was business as usual. Had we discussed a baseball game, they would have been shocked.
