Surprise Chakra-Link Impact Last week while shopping in a Lake Arrowhead grocery store, I was overwhelmed by a sense of deep sadness so intense the emotion stopped me in my tracks. I stood in the bottled-water aisle looking at the floor trying to figure out what was happening. I don’t do deep sadness without a very good reason. Not ten minutes later, I received a text-phone message from Carol Morgan saying, her dad’s lung had collapsed and they were rushing him into surgery in another of a long string of operations to save his life. I immediately realized I was experiencing Carol’s emotions because we were chakra-linked. She was in Ohio and her dad was in crisis in Florida. Carol had just received the news from her step-mother. EXPLANATION: As I write this, I’m just home after spending three weeks on the road. My time away started with driving to Phoenix for my grandson Benjamin’s first-birthday party. The next afternoon, I flew to Columbus, OH, rented a car and drove to Vienna, WV, where I taught my Professional Hypnotist Training over the next five days at Deborah Lindsey’s and Joe Freeman’s Self-Health & Awareness Center. Returning to Columbus, I worked with a private client for several days. My last five days were in Dayton, OH where I stayed with Carol -- my friend, co-writer, and the co-host of my radio show once a month. We have a history of working in a nearby Panera Restaurant. We take over a corner table. Fresh coffee and food is always available and we accomplish a lot, usually in five-hour stints. Our second day was for a recording session in a Dayton studio. We ended up with two webcast radio shows to be aired on www.contacttalkradio.com and as support material for our projects. After eight months of doing shows over the phone, it was delightful to work together in a recording studio. I think anyone who listens will sense the difference in our energy. Part of each evening in Dayton was for hypnotic programming. Carol and I do this regularly over the phone, at her bedtime, to program the success of the book/website we’re co-creating. To enhance the power of the mind programming, we both envision linking our top three chakra centers to create a psychic bond that enhances the power of our shared visualizations and suggestions. I usually direct the process and go into trance right along with her (I play my “Mind Converter” CD low in the background on my end of the phone.) At the end of the session, I tell her to drift off into a natural sleep, so we don’t end, as we normally would, by jointly dissolving the connection. When Carol’s father died a few days ago, I asked her if she wanted to dissolve the connection or leave it in place so she can draw upon my strength during the trying times she is experiencing. We remain connected, but now when I feel her sadness I know why, and I am reminded to send her light and healing.
