Hypnotic Tid Bits

Hypnosis Tip: This may or may not be valid for everyone. I have written before about working with a client named Gayle who lives in Las Vegas. She was injured in an auto accident -- more than one accident -- and her back is a mess. But Gayle is highly responsive to my pain removal suggestions, which I provide over the phone and in one-on-one sessions.

On occasions the suggestions have lasted for weeks at a time.

While in Las Vegas for the American Board of Hypnotherapy Conference in January in Las Vegas, I had a private hypnosis session with Gayle. She told me that the first time I’d given her pain-removal suggestions, I buried them. In other words, I gave her the suggestions, then told her to consciously forget I had given her the suggestions. Her unconscious mind, however, was instructed to remember and act upon the suggestions. I cannot recall why I did this, but she experienced no pain for four months.

So at Gayle’s request, I did this again, and it’s been nearly three weeks and she is still nearly pain free. This is far longer that we could normally expect a pain removal suggestion to last. I’m going to continue to explore the power of buried suggestions and will report back on my results.

A few weeks ago, I was interviewed on Whitley Strieber’s www.unknowncountry.com. Psychic medium Marla Frees conducted the first interview and Whitley’s wife Anne was going to do a second interview. But Whitley broke in and asked me if I was willing to hypnotize and past-life regress him. “Of course,” I replied. So I conducted the regression over the phone and he was soon reliving an incarnation as a Church Bishop involved in political intrigues.

Whitley recorded the session and offered the full version of the regression as a special event to members of his website.  

Then a few days ago, Marla came to my Westlake Village, CA office to experience past-life regression. It has been a week of unusual cases, but her session topped them all. I’ve never been much involved with UFOs and alien abductions, but I made up for it in one session of guiding her through a labyrinth world beyond our own.

Other private office or phone sessions this week included:

A woman visiting Venezuela to see her sick elderly father, was filled with fear of the unstable government, and the violence and kidnapping taking place there. I hypnotized her over the phone and we made a mind-programming tape to minimize her fear and increase her power to communicate with her father through mind-to-mind transference.

A woman in her late twenties with no memory of her early childhood, came to try to resolve current-day sexual issues. Using present-life regression, she relived her grandfather sexually molesting her at age three. Ideally, the forgiveness session we explored will help to set her free.

A woman bothered by an earth-bound entity discovered the man has been with her since she was a young child. He’s been sad because when she began to grow up, she quit communicating with him. Upon discovering this in hypnosis, she began to remember the situation.

A middle-aged man came to me because he has decided to make his living as a specialized stock trader. He traveled from the East Coast to work on creating a Remote Viewing CD. By projecting forward in time, he plans to see what the market is going to do before it does it.

I also had a phenomenal case of cause and effect exploring why a middle-age woman is overweight, but that story will have to wait until I obtain permission to tell it in its entirety.
