The Mystery of 2012 In my “Shift” workshop (11 cities -- April 29 - May 15) I will talk about many possibilities, all of which are converging upon the date Dec. 12, 2012. At the end of the session, I’ll be hypnotically progressing the attendees forward in time to that date so they can see for themselves what is coming. In the new book, “The Mystery of 2012” from Sounds True, 26 writers share their ideas about what is to come. “Choice Point 2012 -- Our Date with the Window of Emergence” is the opening chapter by Greg Braden. He looks at the possibility of an overdue pole-shift, and goes on to discuss a huge new sunspot cycle predicted to begin in 2012. This cycle will be 30 -- 50 percent stronger than the previous one. “Because this phenomenon has never happened with the population and technology that we have today, no one knows for certain what effects these solar storms may have on our future.” “Are we heading toward a time of unprecedented catastrophe, 1,000 years of peace, or both? No one knows for sure. While the solar cycles and magnetic reversals are very real and have definitely happened in our ancient past, they have never happened while 6.5 billion people lived on the planet, and certainly not with the majority of those people dependent upon the technology of power grids, communications, computers, and global positioning satellites. Just as uncertainty accompanies any birth, we simply don’t know what our birth into such a monumental experience may mean to life, technology, our emotions, and our bodies.” Greg ends his chapter saying, “... the solstice of December 21, 2012, becomes a powerful window for our collective emergence into our greatest potential. Such a moment is so rare that we have been preparing for it for over 5,000 years, and it will be another 26,000 years before the same opportunity cycles around again. As the source of our light -- our sun -- moves into perfect alignment with the center of our galaxy, are we ready to receive the greatest gift of all -- the gift of our true selves? The stage is set, the choice is ours, the cosmos in waiting. Do we have the wisdom to marry science, history, tradition and beliefs into the miracle that awaits us on December 21, 2012?” I recently had Barbara Hand Clow on “Dick Sutphen’s Metaphysical World” radio show to talk about her book, “The Mayan Code.” As an astrologer and shaman, she believes 2012 is about an emotional, not a physical shift. Last week, I was in Johnson City, TN talking to over 700 people gathered for a Coptic Fellowship. My friends Patti Conklin and Dannion Brinkley were also speaking. When Dannion had his 28-minute near-death experience in 1975, while going to the light, he encountered a being who showed him 300 scenes from the future. Of the 117 world events, 100 have become reality.
