Saddam & Destiny

Last weekend, I conducted two workshops at the WE International Convention in Tucson, AZ. Those attending believe themselves to be “walk-ins.” If you’re not familiar with the concept, walk-ins are souls who participated in a soul-transfer with another human being who wished to depart from the physical world without dying and without incurring additional karma.

The departing soul often feels overpowered and incapable of handling life. The walk-in steps into the old body for humanitarian purposes, choosing to clean up the problems of the departing soul. After this task is completed, the walk-in is free to pursue his/her own service agenda.

The Saturday evening session was attended by the walk-ins and people from Phoenix and Tucson who wanted to participate in my workshop. So the audience was quite metaphysically aware.

“How many of you believe the war in Iraq was predestined?” I asked, holding up my hand. Two-thirds of the attendees put up their hands.

An astrologer in the audience told me she had recently done Saddam Hussein’s astrology chart. “It shows his time is up,” she said. “He will now be toppled from power.”

I had talked to Tara on the phone earlier in the day. She was in the process of progressing Saddam’s astrology chart. “He lives in a bubble, and is very short sighted right now,” she said. “He’ll lose his country, but his death aspects are not clear. It could be the death of his relationship to his country. Right now, he is experiencing the most intense aspects that can be found in a chart. This relates to his soul goals in life, which has to do with changes or death. A key goal is retribution and retaliation.

“Catastrophe is associated with who he is -- his face to the world. There is a lot of damage surrounding his death, including assassination -- sudden or drastic change. Maybe even suicide. He feels his death is his destiny. When he dies, he will have accomplished what he wanted to do. The karmic legacy on his death aspects are notoriety, dishonor, violence and misfortune.”

Back in my hotel room, I checked astrologers on the web. Most of the predictions had been posted some time ago. At “The Journal of Astrology” site, the lead article said, “this is the end of the Saddam era and his life itself.” Several other astrological predictions said in effect, by sometime in April at the latest, Saddam was “over.”

At the Vedic “Express Starteller” site, K. N. Ras said, Saddam is about to enter the mahadasa of Mars in the sixth house with moon the second lord: “The dasa of Mars which will be the seventh is likely to see the end of his rule and even life.”

In a general computerized chart, the dictator is advised that now is the time to control his natural impulses, which might get him into trouble. By April 15, if he lives that long, Mars will be opposite Pluto in Saddam’s chart, which will peak his aggressiveness (possibly a time he could unleash weapons of mass destruction?). He’s advised to protect his possessions, and his own body because he might be “knocked off his throne.”

If Saddam’s chart shows his demise at this exact time, was the war with Iraq predestined? It appears that way when you combine this awareness with information found in the astrological charts of George W. Bush and other players. Tara combined her chart with Saddam’s. “It clearly shows he will disrupt my life. To what degree I do not know, but it is there.” She hesitated. “He has disrupted my life.”
