Sedona Conversations

“You talk about being a Master of Life,” said a friend over coffee at Ravenheart Coffee in Sedona, Arizona.

“I’m working on becoming a Master of Life,” I said. “I know what to do, but I’m not there yet.”

He nodded, said, “If you really want to become self-actualized, what is your best suggestion?”

“Fear nothing,” I said. “Never let fear block you from doing what you desire in your heart to do. Fear is the problem ... love is the answer. Light removes darkness. If you don’t like the dark, turn on the light. Love resolves fear. If you feel afraid, project unconditional acceptance into the situation.”

Last week I conducted an evening workshop in Scottsdale, followed by the three-day Psychic Seminar in Sedona. Old friends and new were there offering support at both gatherings. On a couple occasions in Sedona, participants and some members of the support team gathered at the nearby coffeehouse.

“I thought you were going to say, ‘It’s your resistance to what is that causes your suffering ... so don’t resist anything,’” said one of the women who is familiar with my ideas.

“Resistance is a fear-based emotion,” I said. “By saying ‘fear nothing,’ I include resistance, and leave room for the hundreds of other fears from prejudice to possessiveness ... to all the fears of avoidance such as fear of commitment, intimacy, abandonment, all the way to fears of success or failure.

The discussion covered a lot of subjects. One of the women said, “Karma seems overwhelming ... always being concerned about everything you think, say and do ... and your motive, intent and desire. Too much thinking.”

One of the men said, “Simplify your thinking. When you’re making a choice ask yourself if the choice will bring happiness to yourself and everyone else affected by the choice? If the answer is yes, you’ll be generating good karma.”

The discussion turned to the idea of sourcing. I explained how effectively Tara manifests the people and things she desires in her life by visualizing herself within a Celtic stone circle asking the Universe for what she wants.

Another woman in the group said, “When it comes to sourcing new people, I always ask to attract people I’m in Divine harmony with.”

That might reduce the number of potentials, but it sounded like a good idea to me. When conducting a seminar, I feel I usually learn more than those attending.
