THE STRONG ARE PATIENT
Patience means to hold back in your inclination to respond to the extreme emotions of:
Do not stuff your real feelings; instead, simply give yourself the opportunity to get past your automatic response so you can determine what your real feelings are. Give yourself time to be perspective about the repercussions and to weigh your response against your values. In so doing you achieve understanding that leads to inner harmony. Use your index finger and thumb “mudra” conditioning to support your patient response.
It is time to stop judging and manipulating others. Could you say the following to those close to you?
“You are perfect the way you are. Is it working for you?”
What someone else says to you does not affect you. only what you think about what they say affects you. All the rest is what you add to it. Instead, most of us take it personally. This is always ill-advised, because their reactions, good or bad, come out of their conditioning, from the memory banks of their computer. It is their viewpoint and it has nothing to do with you. The way they relate to you they would relate to anyone who represented to them what you represent.
Others reactions to you are nothing but statements of their viewpoint. It has nothing to do with the facts, or the way things actually are.
If your relationships are based on need, they are based on fear and your game is “how do I avoid losing?” You are resisting loss and thus you will draw it to you. Rise above this need by becoming more independent.
Past lives only amount to past classes in school. You learned or you didn’t. You programmed your computer for smooth functioning or you didn’t. Your present situation shows exactly how well you learned in the past. It is your own wisdom that will set you free in the present. Wisdom can be a matter of becoming aware of our own truths and choosing a self-responsible, non-manipulative viewpoint. Wisdom can also be clarity of intent and the self-discipline to be responsible to your goals and incorporate techniques to create your own reality.
Are you ready to fully commit to whatever you do? Are you ready to stop living your life with one foot in the safety zone and give it everything you have? When you give all you’ve got, you can receive all there is.
LOVING YOURSELF DISSOLVES EGO
The idea that it is necessary to suppress the ego to evolve spiritually has been accepted by many who seek wisdom. Yet to worry about your ego must be the ultimate ego trip. Get off it. Your ego is. to attempt to get rid of your ego is resistance and thus you’ll end up with more ego. Experience what you experience without repressing and be aware that the more you love yourself, the less you will need to express ego-centered feelings of superiority. So it appears that if you are concerned about ego it would be in your best interest to forget about suppressing and concentrate upon loving yourself.
